Lindsay Lohan wants to duet with US singer Kevin Rudolf.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who is set to release her third album in November - is a huge fan of the musical star, whose latest single 'Let It Rock' featuring Lil Wayne was released earlier this year, and thinks a collaboration would be a successful venture.

She wrote on her MySpace blog: "Here's a song that I'm kind of into right now. My sister Aliana loves it, and we were playing it at 7.30am in my dressing room - I heard that the singer wrote the song himself, so props to him for that, maybe we can do something together... enough said - hope everyone enjoys it :)"

Lindsay also revealed she is not looking forward to leaving hit US TV show 'Ugly Betty', on which she recently filmed a cameo role.

She added: "I've only got two days left of my shoot on Ugly Betty - I am quite sad to have to leave the wonderful cast and crew behind. It's always sad to leave people that you get close to. It's been such a delight to be a part of this show!"

Former Hollywood hellraiser Lindsay Lohan is adamant it was her decision to ditch her wildchild ways - and not that of her rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The Mean Girls star appeared to curb her partying lifestyle after starting a relationship with the DJ earlier this year, prompting gossips to credit Ronson for the positive changes in Lohan's life.

But the 22-year-old insists she was responsible for her behaviour reform.

She says, "She's a great person. And she's a great influence on people around her.

"But I think that anything that's changed in my life is because of me. I've gone through it and I've had to deal with it and I've made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she's a great person.

According to reports Lindsay Lohan wants to raise a child with DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

According to the News Of The World the 22 year old is said to be considering all her options and has had "deep discussions" surrounding children.

A source said: "Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She's been having deep discussions about a baby.

"She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriends to help out. They don’t want to adopt.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who has so far refused to confirm she is dating the New York DJ - declared she is "smitten" with the blonde star.

Writing on her official MySpace blog, Lindsay puts her mood as "smitten".

She then went on to dedicate Ray LaMontagne's touching ballad 'Trouble' to "sr" (Samantha Ronson) before adding "ILY" (I love you).

Lindsay also revealed she is desperate to track down a dessert she and Samantha used to enjoy at school as a surprise for the DJ.

The blog reads: "So, Samantha and I are looking for Dixie cups - does anyone remember them??? They were given in school as a desert. They are half vanilla/half chocolate. I have to have them before she gets back - so anyone that can help me find them - please, please, please, post it for me to see!!!!

Lindsay Lohan's uncle has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for defrauding the U.S. government of terrorist relief funds.

Paul Sullivan was jailed on Thursday (28Aug08) after pleading guilty to one count of mail fraud in April 2006 after pocketing $132,000 (£71,351) of a $650,000 (£351,351) loan from the Small Business Administration (Sba).

The 50-year-old brother of Lohan's mother Dina claimed his car company lost business after terrorist attacks on New York's World Trade Center on 11 September 2001.

Sullivan reportedly broke down in tears in the courtroom when the Long Island, New York judge delivered his sentencing.

He has also been ordered to pay back the $650,000 (£351,351) Sba loan.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "At first he thought it was a joke when she got in touch. But she's since been phoning and texting constantly.

"It's become a running joke in his camp. Lindsay has been trying to meet up with him. They're both going to the Mtv Video Music Awards next month so they'll be sure to see each other properly then.

"Phelps is certainly flattered by all the attention but it's not clear how seriously he's taking it all."

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, Samantha said: "Lindsay is great. But she's also 22 years old. I think people forget that. With the Internet the way it is, one second we're enemies, one second we're best friends, one second we're lovers, and then we're broken up.
"Even the airport security guy in Canada asked me, 'So is it true?' It's like, 'Oh, yeah, I'm telling you!' "

Lindsay refused to comment on the relationship, adding in an email to the publication: "I love the Ronsons. They're close to my heart and I respect all the work they do. But Samantha and my relationship is a private matter
