Paris Hilton models her latest present from boyfriend Doug Reinhardt... the tackiest snow suit on the slopes

She's a notorious shopaholic, but if there's one thing Paris Hilton likes more than hitting the stores, it's getting presents.

The socialite received a suitably chavvy white snow suit as a gift from boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, and it seems she couldn't bear to take it off.

As the couple welcomed in the new year on a skiing break in Aspen, Paris was pictured repeatedly wearing the bling suit complete with furry collar.

She posted pictures of herself in it on her Twitter page, posed for photographers and even found time to hit the slopes.

She wrote: 'Getting ready to go skiing. D bought me the cutest white ski suit. Snow Bunny Time! :)'

But it wasn't her only Christmas present. Lucky Paris told her fans that she had received diamond jewellery from her TV star boyfriend.

At home opening Christmas presents from my man,' she Tweeted on Christmas Eve. 'SO happy! He really spoiled me this year and gave me so many incredible presents!

'It's true diamonds are a girl's best friend.'

Paris even found time to take a break from her holiday with Doug and his family to reply to fans concerns that her white fur hood was real fur.
No, don't worry, it is not real fur. Fake fur can look still look cute and real, but it's just synthetic.'

And it wasn't all hard work in the snow.

Paris found the time to relax, Tweeting: 'Finally got back to the hotel. Sitting by the fire drinking a hot chocolate with marshmallows with my favourite person in the world. Loves it.'

Paris Hilton tried her best to put her break-up from Benji Madden behind her by hitting a Los Angeles club on Wednesday (19Nov08) - but quickly left when the apparent heartbreak got too much for her.

The socialite hit L.A.'s Crown bar with pals in a bid to banish her blues just hours after her split from the Good Charlotte rocker was confirmed by her publicist.

And despite the best efforts by her entourage to buck up her spirits - Hilton couldn't face partying and hurried out of the club after just 30 minutes.

A source tells Usweekly.com, "Her friends were trying to talk to her, and it looked like she was making an effort to talk with all of them even though you could tell she didn't feel like partying.

Hilton and Madden announced their nine-month relationship had come to an end on Wednesday, when the hotel heiress' spokesperson simply stated the pair will "remain very good friends".

Paris Hilton has designed a range of T-shirts backing her to become the next US President.

The hotel heiress recently "announced" her candidacy in a spoof online video - which she made after 71-year-old Republican Presidential candidate John McCain used her image without permission in a TV campaign mocking his rival Barack Obama - and decided to make the T-shirts, which are available from fashionable Los Angeles boutique Kitson, for her supporters.

She said: "I bought a 'Paris for President' shirt a few years ago and thought it would be fun to do my own. I think I'd make the best President."

In the joke video, Paris claimed she would paint the White House pink if she was elected and would appoint 'Umbrella' singer Rihanna as her Vice President.

Paris, who lies on a sun lounger wearing a leopard-print swimsuit and stiletto heels in the promo, says: "Hey America, I'm Paris Hilton and I'm a celebrity too. Only I'm not from the olden days and I'm not promising change like that other guy. I'm just hot!

"But then that wrinkly white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad', which I guess means I'm running for president. So thanks for the endorsement white-haired dude, and I want America to know I'm, like, totally ready to lead."

Speaking about McCain later in the clip, she jokes: "He is the oldest celebrity in the world... like super-old, old enough to remember when dancing was a sin and beer was served in a bucket.... but is he ready to lead?"

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has vowed to curb her party lifestyle - because the celebrity social scene leaves her feeling "empty".

Hilton was once a regular at star-studded events, but she insists she has lost interest in the party circuit since she started dating rocker Benji Madden earlier this year (08).

And the 27-year-old is adamant that she has now left her wild lifestyle behind.

She tells British magazine Heat, "I don't want to go to clubs now. I was caught up in a lifestyle that seemed fun at the time, but ultimately left me feeling very empty."

And Hilton puts her reformed character down to her new love.

She adds, "My boyfriend is my best friend. I stay home a lot and just enjoy my time with Benji. I'm a different person today."

The socialite, who plays a plastic surgery addict in 'Repo! The Genetic Opera', was surprised when her lover Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden told her he loved her new look.

Paris is quoted as saying: "The looks were pretty brutal at points. I was pretty embarrassed by all the prosthetics on my face. In every scene I look completely different.

"Throughout the film I had different prosthetics, different hair, different eyes, and different chins. But Benji thought it was really hot!"

Paris, 27, recently revealed how much she enjoyed being able to dramatically change her appearance.

She said: "I've never had any plastic surgery, so doing a character like that - it was a lot of fun to change because every scene I have a different nose, I have different eyes, different hair.

"We were using a lot of prosthetics, so every scene you can't really tell that it's me, so that was a lot of fun. "

Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. filed a lawsuit in Miami last week (ends08Aug08), alleging that the 27-year-old owes them the sum for not fulfilling promotional obligations.
The hotel heiress is said to have entered into an agreement in 2004 for the production and distribution of the movie National Lampoon's Pledge This!, in which she starred, according to the lawsuit.

The Miami-based company claims it paid Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment Inc., $1 million (£500,000) for her acting services and for "reasonable promotion and publicity" for the movie, which was released in 2006 and featured Hilton as the president of an exclusive sorority.
