Billie Piper's internet birth

Billie Piper watched someone giving birth on the internet to prepare for her own labour.

The 25-year-old actress - who is expecting her first child with husband Laurence Fox - logged onto a specialist website to find out exactly what she was letting herself in for.

She said: "I am avoiding all books and all websites. I've already watched someone giving birth on the internet. You can't get it on YouTube so you have to go on other sites.

"It's quite frightening but fascinating too. It's good because I didn't know what to expect. I think I'm going to wing it and see how it goes."

Billie also said she Laurence is coping well with her mood swings, and helping her deal with the pregnancy.

She said: "He is being really good. I'm being foul but he seems to be quite breezy about the whole thing which is nice because otherwise it would send me into some kind of hysteria. We are just kind of getting on with it."
