Jada Pinkett Smith's Michelle movie

Jada Pinkett Smith would love to portray Michelle Obama in a movie.

Speaking weeks after her husband Will Smith said he would like to play Barack Obama, the 'Matrix' actress has revealed she would jump at the chance to portray the wife of the Democratic Party candidate who is currently running for US President.

Jada told MTV: "Pencil me in. I love Michelle and would play her any day.

"I'm voting for Michelle. I'm always telling people I'm voting for Michelle to get into the White House and Obama is just going to follow her lead. She is smart and committed, and I just love her."

Will recently admitted he would love to play Barack in a movie of his life - but only "as soon as he writes the end of the story."

The US presidential hopeful said recently he would want the 'Hancock' star to portray him if a big screen version of his life was made because "his ears match mine".

While Will is keen to take on a political portrayal in the movie, he claims he would never go into the field in real life because he prefers his current career.
He explained: "I enjoy being in the movie star position. Movie stars tend to have little bit higher approval rating than politicians.
