Mariah Carey sets New York on fire in tacky Halloween outfit of sparkly underwear

It's a Halloween accessory to put even the fanciest broomstick to shame - a full-size fire truck.

Mariah Carey arrived at a New York club on the back of the vehicle dressed in a fire jacket and little else.

The singer showed off her bejewelled red underwear and satin red stockings at a strictly for adults Halloween party which she attended with new husband Nick Cannon.

Mariah, who is 11 years older than her 27-year-old actor husband, smiled for photographers as she arrived.

She and Cannon married at her private estate in the Bahamas in April after a whirlwind six week romance.

The couple, who originally met at the Kids' Choice Awards in 2005, fell for each other when Nick flew to Antigua at the end of March to play Mariah's love interest in the video for her single Bye Bye.
