Lisaraye Mccoy-misick Divorce Turns Ugly....

Lisaraye McCoy-Misick has slammed her estranged husband MICHAEL Misick for accusing her of breaking into the couple's home in the Caribbean.

McCoy-Misick's split from the Turks & Caicos Premier was announced earlier this week (13Aug08), when Misick released a statement clarifying speculation over his marital statusThe press release came amid unfounded rumours he was having an extra-marital affair with U.S. TV personality Rocsi.

But the break-up has turned nasty just days after Misick declared he was seeking an "amicable" divorce - with the politician alleging the star "ransacked" their home on the island on Wednesday (13Aug08).

The former couple was hospitalised after they clashed that night.

Explaining the incident, a spokesman for Misick says, "LisaRaye, her cousin Phillip Travis and her publicist, Lynn Jetter, assaulted the guard at the premier's home, proceeded to ransack the house, and then assaulted the Premier and his sister. The Premier at no time had any physical contact with LisaRaye."

But The Players Club actress has countered her husband's version of events and has confirmed the police are now investigating the matter
She challenges, "An attempt was made by and on behalf of my husband to first prevent my entry into our home and then, later, to make me leave our home by force. I shall continue to assist the police force with its inquiries."

And her representative Jetter tells the New York Daily News, "No, we didn't break in. She was at her home. Someone bit her. It might've been Michael or his sister, but there was shoving and someone bit her on the shoulder
